Our head chef has created Festive menus for the Christmas celebrations that will truly live up to your expectations,  albeit for a party of one hundred or smaller event of just 2!.

We strongly advise early booking to avoid disappointment. A telephone call will secure a provisional reservation.

Chef’s tomato & red pepper Soup (v, gf, v*)

Our famous creamy garlic mushrooms served with a salad garnish and toasted brioche (v, gf*, v*)

Freshly fanned melon caressed with a port berry coulis & garnished with fruits (v, gf, v*)

Chef’s homemade chicken liver pate served with homemade chutney and brioche toast (gf*)

Ginger Cheese, Apple & Cranberry Salad, Balsamic drizzle (v, gf)

Homemade Smoked Salmon Fishcake, bed of leaves, sweet chilli dipping sauce


Chef’s Balmoral Burger – Homemade beef burger topped with haggis in a brioche bun with chunky chips, Drambuie sauce, onion marmalade, crisp salad

Homemade Game Pie – Selection of game cooked in a rich red wine and tomato gravy toped with  suet pastry, fresh vegetable selection, chunky chips

Roasted Derbyshire turkey, homemade stuffing, wrapped chipolata, rich gravy, roasted potatoes, buttered new potatoes, fresh vegetable selection (gf*)

Black pudding wrapped in pork and bacon topped with a wholegrain mustard sauce, chunky chips, fresh vegetable selection
