New Year Break

Why not come and join us to celebrate the New Year. Our break includes afternoon tea on arrival, choice dinner, Gala Dinner on New Years Eve, New Years Eve traditional party, country walks, traditional pub quiz, special hidden gifts in rooms for the kids, buffet lunches and lots lots more. Tuesday 28th December 2010

Mary, Martin their children Jenny and David and staff would like to welcome you  to The Dog and Partridge Country Inn for the New Year. From the moment you check in until the moment we bid you farewell, we aim to host the party of the year.

On arrival from 3pm we will be serving a wonderful afternoon tea in the bar in front of the fire. After you have signed in we will escort you to your room, where the children:  you will need to hunt out your very own gift.

Join us in the bar at 6.30 - 7.00 pm for a chance to meet your fellow guests. Dinner will be served at 7.30pm.

When you have finished your delicious dinner join us for our Horse Racing Night will you bid on the winning horse?.

Wednesday 29th December 2010

Start the day with Breakfast served in the restaurant 8am and 10am.

Free day to relax. Book lunch with us here or at the Dog and Partridge Country Inn or order one of our delicious packed lunches. Details on walks from the hotel are available for an afternoon stroll or hike !

Join us in the bar for drinks at 6.30pm. Dinner is served in the restaurant at 7.30pm. After why not join us in the bar for 'our Traditional Pub Quiz.

Thursday 30th December 2010

Start the day with Breakfast served in the restaurant 8am and 10am.

At 11.00 am we invite you to join us for a walk in Dovedale. After which return to the Dog and Partridge for a hearty  lunch served in the restaurant.

Use the afternoon to explore the local towns and villages in the area.

5.30pm Kids Party Night

6.30pm Drinks in the bar. Dinner is served in the Restaurant at 7.30pm. After which there is time for a relaxed evening in the bar, why not play a board game.

Friday 31st December 2010 - New Years Eve

Start the day with a hearty breakfast served 8 - 10 am in the restaurant, guaranteed to get anybody through the day and night ahead - so be prepared!

Kids and Adults alike why not take part in our New Year Car Treasure Hunt. Fun for all the family! Its worth a go the winning team gets a Luxury hamper.

On the way round stop to re fuel at our mystery location where a delicious lunch will be served.
Ensure you are back with the answers by 4.00pm sharp.

Then there is time for you to prepare for our unique dinning experience. Meet us in the bar for drinks at 6.30pm. We then invite you to enter into the spirit of the occasion and join us in all that glitters!. There will be prizes for the most creative or outstanding outfit worn to dinner.

Dine and then dance to the Disco of the Decade and traditional party. As the New Year approaches prepare yourselves for the sounds of Big Ben, Balloons from the ceiling and other surprises.

The crowds may have ebbed but the party is not over as we celebrate till late.

Saturday 1st January 2011 - New Years Day

The celebrations continue as we kick off with a New Years Brunch available 10am -12pm  - The first meal of the New Year. Eat as much as you can from a selection of fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, breads, bacon,  sausages, eggs, potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes etc wash it down with a glass of bucks fizz. Don't forget to leave room for one of our puddings!

Join the Hang overs club for our New Year Walk along the Tissington Trail Followed by the cutting of our New Year cake and tea.

7.00 pm drinks in the bar. Followed by our special New Year Hot and Cold Buffet . Join us and take part in our special Quiz of the year' great fun for all the family includes special round for the kids.

Sunday 2nd January 2011

Breakfast will be served between 8am and 10am.

Join Take part in our treasure hunt in and around Ashbourne return for Lunch served in the Restaurant with us here or at the Dog and Partridge Country Inn or order a packed Lunch if you want to explore the rest of the peaks.

Join us in the bar for drinks at 6.30pm. Dinner is served in the restaurant at 7.30pm. Featuring our Cheese Tasting And Quiz.

Monday 3rd January 2011

Breakfast is served 8-10am.

Then final farewells to your friends and hosts before your journey home.
