We’re delighted to be awarded the VisitEngland ‘We’re Good to Go’ industry charter mark. This verifies that the Dog and Partridge Country Inn with rooms in grounds meets the Government and public health guidance on COVID-19 and that we have all the required health and safety processes in place to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit.
Following the recent change to the governments guidelines, we are delighted to announce that The Dog and Partridge Country Inn with rooms will be open for all guests from the 4th July
So things will be a little different to welcome you however the health and safety of our Guests and Staff is our top priority so we are putting lots of extra measures in place to keep everyone safe and sound during your visit/stay with us. Did you know all of our rooms are located in the grounds of the inn.
It is now a requirement that all guests wear a face covering until seated at a table for food and or drinks. It is also a requirement for all guests to complete our track and trace details.
Enhanced procedures and training for our team regarding hygiene and daily temperature checks
Ensuring all Entrance and exit doors have hand sanitiser including all bedroom doors. Increased Hand sanitiser stations throughout all areas of the hotel, reception, restaurant and bar. Where possible all doors will be open to avoid contamination.
One-way system in place for all guests and staff within the country inn but also in the grounds and garden areas
Fantastic socially distanced garden & terrace area for al fresco dining and drinks
Socially distanced restaurant for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner – We recommend pre booking when ever possible. We are only able to accept groups of up to 6 guests to eat, drink and stay with us however the only exception to this is if a family from one household is larger. All guests must remain in their group of up to 6 through out their visit.
Room Service available if preferred for dinner and breakfast – We are offering our guests a great breakfast box to set you up for the day.
Extra upped Hygiene and cleaning procedures in place for guest rooms and public areas. All touch points will be wiped down with sanitiser spray every 30-60 min. This includes all door handles, reception desks, counters handsets, pdq, epos systems, and toilet areas. Checklists will be in plaice to ensure this is done efficient and effectivly
Although our normal facilities for kids are currently under review Table Tennis Tables are still available for use just bring your own bats and balls alternatively you will be able to purchase your own from our great gift shop
The Dog & Partridge Team
All members of the team will ensure their hands are washed/sanitised upon leaving their home and immediately on arrival to work
All team members will be subject to having their tempreture checked before working and will be sent home if a temperature is detected.
All team members will wash and sanitise their hands no more than fifteen minute intervals OR at least every fifteen minutes.
Our Team will refrain from physical contact with each other where possible and where not necessary for their employment. Or will they be able to share food or drinks at all.
No Use of Mobile telephones will be permitted whilst at work for all members of the team.
Teams must travel to and from work in personal clothes and shoes, changing on site into their uniforms.

We will stagger all table times to avoid queuing and return times will be respectably given when we show you to your table.
How we plan to look after you in the Restaurant, Bar and on the terrace
So as I’m sure you are aware all service will be table service the largest table available is for up to 6.
Within the restaurant we plan to set your table with sanitised cutlery and unnecessary items will be reduced to avoid contamination. All guests eating in the gardens will be provided with cutlery on delivery of your food. Only 2 plates will be carried by the team at anyone time and laundered napkins will be used to carry all plates.
All tables and chairs will be sanitised after your visit ready for the next guests.
Track & Trace: WE ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE CUSTOMERS DETAILS ON ARRIVAL TO OUR PREMISES TO COOPERATE WITH THE GOVERNMENT’S TRACK & TRACE SYSTEM. PLEASE USE THE COVID-CONTACT FORM CLICK HERE TO PROVIDE YOUR DETAILS BEFORE YOU LEAVE; WE WILL NEED YOUR FULL NAME, CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER, EMAIL ADDRESS AND THE DATE YOU VISITED. YOUR DETAILS WILL NOT BE USED FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN PASSING TO THE GOVERNEMNT FOR TRACK AND TRACE PURPOSES, AND WILL BE DESTROYED AFTER 21 DAYS.
